To ensure that the feed contains all the ingredients, even in small crumbs intended for young animals, the product is first pelletised then the pellet iscrumbled.

The AWILA® product range therefore includes the AWILA® pellet crumbler. This crumbler is extremely robust and simple in design. The pellets to be crushed are delivered by an infeed gate or supply roller and broken into fine crumbs by specially hardened rollers. A hand wheel is used for exact roller adjustment. The rollers are driven by a motor via V-belts. The crumbler is easy to install, very reliable in terms of operational performance and uses very little energy. As the crumbler is often installed in the general pellet flow, its crumbling rollers can be bypassed by means of a pneumatic flap so that the crumbler can be switched on and off as required.
